ARTIST STATEMENT
The project “Perception” is an expression of how social media changes our look on reality. I created this work because often people are discouraged about where they are at in life or what they look like because of what they see on social media.
ARTIST BIO
My name is Harmony Stewart I am 23 years old and born here in Lynchburg, Virginia. I work primarily with photography, but I enjoy painting and drawing as well. I am currently a senior in college studying for a B.A. in Visual Media with a concentration in photojournalism. I enjoy taking photos of people and I would like to have my own photography studio and business.
