EXHIBIT INFORMATION
Cynthia Wood is a Fine Art Certified Instructor for over 15 years. She currently has a working studio located in Lynchburg Virginia. Old Master’s Drawing Painting is her concentration of study at the Academy of Art University, in San Fransisco, California. Cynthia started her career personally studying under many accomplished artists in South and Central Florida such as: Fred Phillips, Ralph Bagley, Albert Handel, Terry Isaac, Bill Hammond, Olivia Braida (Ringling College of Art and Design), and Polly Polinski. She has also attended Crealde School School of Art, Maitland Center of Arts, and Mount Dora Center of Arts, located in Central Florida. Her signature style is Traditional Old Masters, as well as Botanical Illustration. She enjoys teaching Drawing, Color Theory, Watercolor, Pen and Inks, Charcoals, Upper Torso Anatomy for Portraiture, and Architectural Perspective in her studio. Oil painting is her personal favorite and Cynthia enjoys painting daily in her personal home studio.
Cindy Wood teaches beginning drawing, pen and inks, charcoal, colored pencil, and watercolor painting at Tradewynd Art Studio. Her students consist of Jr. High through High School ages. They study Upper torso anatomy for Portraiture, and 3D Drawing. Their year consists of drawing studies and 2 Completed Projects of our studies by the end of the school year.
