Artist Statement

My current works are a series of interrelated sculptural vignettes, combining fragmented monument-forms with a vocabulary of contemporary objects referencing artifice, automation, and human fragility. This combination of forms loosely reference a sense of acceleration both of progress and of retrograde political motion, and the idea of de-stabilizing previously monolithic forms and ideas.
