The opening reception and artist talk for Ode to Eleuthera by Lisa Tubach will take place in the Craddock-Terry Gallery on First Friday, May 6th, 2016. 5:30 – 8:00 pm
“My work explores the fluidity of ecological spaces and their inhabitants, particularly in terms of strength, vulnerability and adaptability. For some time, my creative endeavors have been a response to specific issues of environmental concern, including ocean health, unchecked chemical use, species invasion, migration interruption and disease… Both visually and conceptually, the work explores the tensions between beauty and threat, health and illness and microscopic versus macroscopic perspectives.” — Lisa Tubach
Ode to Eleuthera will be on view through Friday, June 18th. Craddock-Terry Gallery hours are 12:00 – 5:00 pm Wednesday – Sunday or by appointment, free and open to the public.
