At Miriam’s House, we believe in the power of a home to provide safety and a new start for those experiencing homelessness.
The No Place Like Home public art campaign provided 25 local artists with the opportunity to design, paint, or decorate a small wooden dollhouse in honor of our 25th Anniversary and our work to move homeless families into homes. Artists were asked to respond to the prompt, “What does home mean to you?” .
Join us on October 18th from 7pm - 9:30pm at Riverviews Artspace for the culmination of our 25th Anniversary and public art campaign.
Event includes:
+ Silent Auction of our 25 No Place Like Home dollhouses
+ Live Music
+ Hors d'oeuvres
+ Cash Bar
+ Artist Talks
8:30pm: silent auction ends and program begins
Dress is casual cocktail attire. Event entry is free.
Preview all 25 houses on our website; all proceeds will fund our programs to end homelessness.
Riverviews Artspace is partnering with Miriam’s House in this collaborative public art campaign, as they believe art should be used to create awareness and prompt change in the local community. For more information about Riverviews, visit www.riverviews.net
