FIRST FRIDAYS IS A MONTHLY OPEN HOUSE FOR THE GREATER LYNCHBURG COMMUNITY.
During this event, we launch new exhibitions, both large and small, programming, and other events. Every evening features artist talks, studio open houses, and small businesses. The aim is to make art and culture more easily accessible to the Lynchburg community while providing an entertaining evening.
This month, we’ll have the Riverviews 20th Anniversary Exhibition and an exhibit from Emerging Artist Dennis Caldwell Jr.
Our cash bar will be open - providing beer, wine and soft drinks!
Riverviews 20th Anniversary Exhibition
For 20 years, Riverviews Artspace has been inspiring, challenging, and bringing people together through art in downtown Lynchburg. And we have no intention of stopping. Join us on Sept. 1st for the ultimate First Friday: a celebration of everything we've accomplished in the past two decades, and all the incredible friends we've made along the way.
The exhibit will feature the works of David Keebler, Rodney Laughon, Brooke Marcy, Susan Timmons, Michael Mewborn, Kevin Chadwick, Larry Bowden, George Dawson, Kim Clarke, Andrew Riscart, Susan Saandholland, Laura Pharis, Jake Lofaso, Michael Creed, Matthew Sir Robertson, Glenn McDaniel, Karen Bowden, Stephanie Keebler, Jill Jensen, David Eakin, Ann van der Graff, Katie Vaden, and Barbara Cornett.
