JOIN US ON JULY 31ST FOR A LAST CHANCE TO SEE JULIE BRYANT AND MOMENTS OF MOMENTUM fROM 5:00PM TO 8:00PM
Riverviews Artspace will hold a closing reception for our two month-long exhibits, Eye of the Beholder and Moments of Momentum, on Friday, July 31st. Since these two exhibits could have an opening reception as planned, this closing reception is the last chance to see these shows. Galleries will be open to the public between 5pm and 8pm.
Eye of the Beholder by Julie Byrant features nude paintings of female models in the Rosel H. Schewel Gallery and Theater, as our monthly Emerging Artist Series. On the ground floor, the Moments of Momentum: Group Photography Show highlights nine photographers from Lynchburg and Richmond, who have documented recent protests in both cities. Our Craddock-Terry Gallery exhibit, Spider Dreams by Michael Mewborn, will be open that evening as well.
As we continue to monitor the Covid-19 pandemic, we ask that visitors wear a face covering and get their temperature taken at the door. A limited number of visitors will be allowed in each gallery at a time.
