In conjunction with Suzanne Paddock’s exhibit The Women’s Portrait Project: Coincidental Feminists and National Women’s History Month, we welcome Lynchburg Museum curator, Emily Kubota, to share the stories of historical women in our area. This year marks 100 years of women’s voting rights through the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
Join us on March 13th, at 7pm, in the Rosel H. Schewel Gallery/Theater. This event is free and open to the public. Cash bar will be available.
The Women’s Portrait Project is funded by the James River Arts & Culture Grant.
