Bio:

Valerie lives in the foothills of Central Virginia. Having moved here two years ago, Where she is exploring and experiencing all her community has to offer. 

She creates surrealistic drawings and paintings that explore the boundaries of culture, status, gender, and environment. 

In between painting she creates a weekly comic that she refers to as her sarcastic, alter ego, or Sassy Wine Chick, and creates hand & eco dyed silk scarves. 

Valerie is the artist and self publisher of a series of coloring books for adults. She is ready to release a new one early 2019.
