WILL KIMBROUGH
SUNDAY, JUNE 10TH AT 7:00 PM
ROSEL H. SCHEWEL THEATER
In the music business, the type of person who can sing, write songs, and play multiple instruments, as well as engineer and produce music in a recording studio is considered gifted.
When such a person is also an internationally touring performer, bandleader, record producer, and 2004 Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year, you might call them a musical “renaissance man.”
Will Kimbrough is one such man.
He’ll be performing at Riverviews Artspace on June 10th in the Rosel H. Schewel Theater.
About Will:
Hailing from Nashville, Kimbrough has worked on 12 songs from four recent Jimmy Buffet albums, toured and recorded with Emmylou Harris and her Red Dirt Boys, and produced two of Todd Snider’s most acclaimed collections. He has been a member of Will and the Bushmen, as well as The Bis-Quits. In 2004, he was awarded the Americana Music Association Instrumentalist of the Year Award.
He is currently a member of DADDY with Tommy Womack, and Willie Sugarcapps with Grayson Capps, Sugarcane Jane, and Corky Hughes. Willie Sugarcapps’ critically acclaimed, self-titled album received the Independent Music Award for Best Americana Album in 2013.
