The 1950’s sequel to The Creature from the Black Lagoon, directed by Jack Arnold and written by Martin Berkeley and William Alland. The Creature (John Bromfield) is captured, put on display in an aquarium, and studied by an animal psychologist Clete Ferguson (John Agar) and Ichthyology student Helen Dobson (Lori Nelson).  The pair soon falls in love. However, the Creature (also known as the Gil-man) takes a liking to Helen, and a series of unexpected events ensue.
