Due to the tornados that ripped through Lynchburg, we had to reschedule The Pacifist screening. Join us on June 17th in the Rosel H. Schewel Theater.
Produced and Directed by Alex Zhort
Riverviews Artspace will be screening “The Pacifist”, an hour-long documentary about the life and worldview of Lynchburg’s most famous tax-resisting, art-collecting resident, Larry Bassett. This low-budget film was shot entirely inside the Riverviews building last year and will begin it’s international festival run this summer.
Alex Zhort, (film producer / amateur director) will give an introduction starting at 7pm before the film starts. Following the screening, Larry and Alex will hold a Q&A and hang around to discuss the film while Riverviews sells tasty beverages. The screening is FREE, but you might consider donating to Riverviews while you’re there because the tagline of the movie is “you are what you pay for”.
Special seating for all Internal Revenue Service agents with valid I.D.
