About the film:
In The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, the death of a transgender woman is re-investigated. In 1992, the body of Marsha P. Johnson, activist and veteran, was found floating in the Hudson river and was ruled a suicide, despite the popular belief that she had been murdered.
